Ajax Public Library Ajax Public Library’s Older Adult Advisory Committee presents: Project Makerspace. Project Makerspace, is a program designed to celebrate the diverse needs, interests, and creativity of older adults in our Ajax community. Members of our senior community are encouraged to explore new ways to express their creativity, increase their digital literacy, and participate in intergenerational programs which will allow them to learn and share knowledge with their peers and teens. The program features a series of workshops running from June 2024 to March 2025 which take place at the recently opened Makerspace, located in the McLean Community Centre (95 Magill Drive, Ajax, ON). Bridge is held at the Ajax Library (Main Branch 55 Harwood Ave. S) every Thursday for 2:30pm to 4:30pm in the Rotary Room.
Lessons started on September 26, 2024 and will continue thereafter on the second and fourth Thursdays of October and November. The lessons cover the basics of bidding and the material builds on material from previous lessons.
